Addendum to Pest Control

I was telling a friend of ours about our lizard adventure. She said something that made common sense: put a bowl overtop the critter (assuming you can catch them before they move) and then put a piece of paper or cardboard under them, flip the bowl, and escort them outside. Apparently she has successfully done this before with a lizard in their house. Now why didn't I think of that (aside from the fact that I was half asleep)?
