So one of the occasional benefits of being a pastoral intern's wife is that we sometimes get to take home the flowers that people bring to put on various tables in church. The posted photo is of some peonies that were given to us; they lasted a good 4-5 days before the pedals fell off. They were stunning!
Mike is making the mileage out of his internship; not only is he preaching the next few weeks in Hanover Park, but he will also be practicing his preaching style(s) and skills in Madison, WI; Crystal Lake, and Grays Lake. If you weren't able to guess, we really like the midwest and would like to end up out in this general direction when school is finished in two years or so.
