July 4th

Below, dear blog readers, are pictures of our 4th of July this year. We spent the afternoon at James and April's townhouse. (For those of you who don't already know, that would be Mike's younger brother and his wife.) We also had among our company the three pastor's kids, who consequently were the focus of many a humourous moment or two.

Guinness introduces himself to Luke

The kids watching fish in the pond (which just had algae-eating chemicals added, giving it a nice fake green-blue tint)

Old Style (or "Old Pile") being enjoyed on the back patio

James and April, the gracious hosts

Duke sipping wine and doing his Donald Duck impressions at Luke

The CA Greggas

Luke having a blast with the colored smoke bombs. (And yes, he was trying to catch them to breathe in the sulfer.....Mmmmmm, sulllllferrrrr....)

The girls watching the growing worms (is it just me, or did those firework worms seem to be cooler when we were kids?)
