Last blog for the day....Morton Arboratum

Last Saturday, we went to the Morton Arboratum. They have a special exhibit right now with several insects made out of different types of wood as shown below. We also saw the library portion of the home of Mr. Morton. In addition to enjoying the great outdoors, I picked up two books that I'm enjoying: "The Naming of Names," which is a book about the history of botany and plant-naming (it actually is pretty interesting; sounds like a boring description, and the cover is beautiful), and "Plant Solutions for Every Garden." (Self-explanatory. I'm hoping it will help my patio.)
