Eating Gear

Hello, dear blog readers! I'm taking a well-earned (or, at least in MY opinion, a well-earned) cleaning break to blog about the latest and greatest in our humble abode.

Have any of you as parents come across great stain removers for baby food, especially those foods rich in beta carotene? Some of my favorite baby clothes have been absolutely ruined due to stains, despite the latest and greatest stain removers. My mom recommended "Awesome!" to me yesterday, which is available  at the local dollar store. I believe I'll be making a trip later today to acquire some. Those stains have looked at me one too many times with their smug expression of obstinate victory.

All of that being said, our pastor's wife introduced us to the concept of prevention: eating gear! We found a play smock at Amazon and found a matching rubber scoop bib on the cheap as well. We introduced it to Big C. this morning, and here are the results. Impressive, especially since he decided he likes to go "Phhhhthhhhthhhh" with raspberry noises with a mouth full of food. Stinker.

And here he is trying to steal the spoon after blowing his food all over himself. At last, though, those stains aren't so smug! Wins today: Mom, 1. Stains, none!
